Good Hair Boutique opened during the Covid pandemic when a Mom had difficulty shopping for wigs and braiding hair for her daughters. Most stores in Pennsylvania were closed, except for the big box stores. These stores had a small isolated section of products for ethnic hair, and many were not recommended for growth, cleansing, styling or moisturizing - and if there was braiding hair or wigs, they weren't of great quality. Good Hair Boutique believes all hair is "good hair" - and it should be cared for and treated as such, with access to products, information and opportunity for those who need it, use it and can teach others about it. I had the fortune of my extended family to teach me how to care for my children's hair, and I want to use Good Hair Boutique as a safe and educational space for other families to learn, and for other children to embrace their natural hair.

Our online hair store offers a local delivery service 7 days per week from Noon to 8 PM. We opened our physical location in December at 200 West 7th Avenue in Tarentum, where we offer quality products created by women-woned, teen-owned, and black-owned businesses, incubation space for hairstylists, and educational programs for ethnic hair care in 2024.

Thank you for visiting us and we hope to see you and your beautiful hair soon!
